Microsoft said this week that its Windows 10 operating system (OS) is now running on more than 800 million active devices globally, one step nearer to its goal of 1 billion Windows 10 users.
Thank you to any all our clients and partners for serving us achieve 800 million Windows 10 devices and also the highest customer satisfaction in the history of Windows, Yusuf Mehdi, Company Vice President of Modern Life and Devices Group tweeted.
It took virtually 3 years and 8 months for Windows 10 to succeed in the goal of 800 million once it had been released in July 2015, Xinhua press agency reported.
Microsoft had originally expected to achieve the goal of getting Windows 10 installed on One billion devices globally in 3 years once its release, but it missed the target last year.
The company proclaimed in September 2018 that over 700 million devices were running Windows 10, indicating it had won One (100) million new users in less than 6 months.
