Microsoft says more than 800 Millions devices running on Windows 10
Microsoft said this week
that its Windows 10 operating system (OS) is now running on more than 800
million active devices globally, one step nearer to its goal of 1 billion
Windows 10 users.

It took virtually 3
years and 8 months for Windows 10 to succeed in the goal of 800 million once it
had been released in July 2015, Xinhua press agency reported.
Microsoft had originally
expected to achieve the goal of getting Windows 10 installed on One billion
devices globally in 3 years once its release, but it missed the target last
year.
The company proclaimed
in September 2018 that over 700 million devices were running Windows 10,
indicating it had won One (100) million new users in less than 6 months.
