WhatsApp Stop Working February 1

Now from February 1, WhatsApp support will also be discontinued for some devices running Android and iOS.

According to WhatsApp’s announcement, support for smartphones running Android 2.3.7 and older as well as devices running iOS 8 and older will be discontinued from February 1.

Users running devices of all these versions have already been committed to create new accounts and re-verify the accounts.

However, users can use the already running account till 1 February.

Currently, there are millions of such devices, which are working on Android version 2.3.7 or older.

Apart from this, the number of iPhone users with iOS 8 and earlier is also very high.

If all these users want to avoid losing their account chat, then they have to shift their account from the version mentioned before February 1 to the device working on the new version or save all their WhatsApp chat.

How to Save WhatsApp Chat

If you are also using WhatsApp on a device working on an older Android or iOS version, then we would advise you to save WhatsApp chat before February 1.

To save all chats you have to go inside any chat of WhatsApp and click on the 3 dots on the top left. Here you have to click on ‘More’ and click on ‘Export Chat’.

Now 2 options will appear on your screen.

Here if you want to save the media files included in the chat, then you have to click on ‘Include Media’ and if you want to save the chat without media files, then you have to click on ‘Without Media’.

Now you will see many options to send chat.

Here, you can send the chat to an email account by choosing the email app.

Please tell that WhatsApp is still working on Jio Phone and Jio Phone 2 running on many OS 2.5.1 version.

For Android and iPhone users, WhatsApp works on Android OS 4.0.3 and below and iOS 9 and above.
